SERVICES

Communication Services

One of the most common reasons for which patients experience either Aphasia or Apraxia is a brain injury. This brain injury could be the result of a stroke or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Cognition Services

We offer cognitive services to address executive functioning(planning, organizing, executing) deficits and memory loss.

Voice Services

Before proper treatment/assessment by a SLP can begin, we recommend our patients be evaluated by Otolaryngologists (ENT’s) under visualization of the laryngeal pathology. Often abnormal laryngeal pathologies require medical management or both medical management and voice therapy.

Swallowing

The first step is to communicate your concerns to your Primary Care Provider (PCP)/Family Medicine Physician (MD). Discuss with your PCP a referral to a Speech Language Pathologist who specializes in Dysphagia assessment/treatment.

Mobile Fees

Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) is a procedure that trained Speech Language Pathologists perform to assess swallowing function.
